One in Three Brits Don’t Open Bank StatementsAbout one third of Brits leave their bank statements unopened because they feel reluctant to face the state of their finances, according to a study. There are about twenty percent of the people who delay the time for them to look at their bank statements or do not open the envelopes at all. They said that they were scared of what they would actually read in the statements, according to the Barclay's sponsored research. This meant that there are over nine million bank statements that do not get opened every month all over the country. Those who live in Scotland are the ones who are most likely to not open their statements, with 44 percent of them saying that this happens. There are 25 percent of the people living in London who said that they did not open the envelope and those in the South West leave their statements on the side.
